The TLG file is a type of log file created by QuickBooks, a program used to keep track of personal and business finances.

Today it is mainly aimed at Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and its tools cover the generation, stamping and issuance of electronic invoices, as well as their payment and management, receipt of commercial payments, control of inventories, the creation of financial reports, various payroll functions, among other features.
This system has versions for desktop and also with cloud mode.
The TLG extension file contains a record of all pending transactions not committed to a QBW file.
The TLG file keeps track of data changes since the last time a proper backup was created.
In the event of a failure, TLG files can be used to restore data to a valid state.
Failure or unfavorable conditions include connection failures, program crashes, or QBW file corruption.
TLG files must be kept in the same directory as their corresponding QBW files.
