Open SMIL File

SMIL files are a multimedia presentations written in the SMIL or Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language. The name and acronym of the SMIL extension and the language itself is similar to HTML.

The SMIL format is used for the development of audiovisual slideshows and can contain text and references to audio and video files, but not contain multimedia.

The interesting thing about the SMIL format is that it is compatible with various Nokia cell phones, such as the Nokia 6600, 3560 and other Series 60 phones.

To work with SMIL files, you need one of the following programs:

• ACDSee
• KMPlayer
• QuickTime Player
• RealPlayer
