Open REMOVE File

REMOVE extension files are data files that are related to files of other extensions that have been removed by the user.

Similar to DELETED files, the REMOVE extension is used by some programs to tag files, which have been removed but saved for backup purposes.

The REMOVE file usually represents the original file with its old file extension renamed REMOVE, it is also possible that the suffix REMOVE is added after the original.

One way to recover a file deleted by mistake is to change the REMOVE extension to the original file extension.

REMOVE files, as such, are not designed to be opened manually by the user, however, just changing the REMOVE extension to the original file extension is enough to open them.
