Open PSP File

PSP files have three different uses, namely:

PaintShop Pro Image File

Here, the PSP file is a color bitmap image saved in the native PaintShop Pro format.

PSP file can include layers, guides, vector paths, metadata, and other objects within the image file.

PaintShop Pro, often referred to as PSP, is a raster imaging program similar to Adobe Photoshop.

PaintShop Pro includes many of the functions of Photoshop, but is offered at a lower price.

PaintShop Pro was developed by Jasc Software for many years until it was acquired by Corel in 2004.

PL/SQL Server Page

In this application, a PSP file is a web page that contains code written in the Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL).

The PSP includes SQL database commands that use Oracle's proprietary PL/ SQL syntax.

The PSP format is used to dynamically access the information in the database when generating the content of the web page.

PSP pages can be viewed in a web browser, however the user will only see the content generated by the server, not the actual PL/SQL code.

Photoshop Preferences File

The PSP file, in this use, is an application preferences file created by Adobe Photoshop, a professional graphics editing application.

The PSP file saves the settings for the action panel, painting and editing tools, and other general settings, and is used to save user preferences.
