Open KPL File

The KPL extension is used by various applications described below.

Kids Programming Language (Phrogram)

In this first case, a KPL file is a source code file written in the Kid's Programming Language, or KPL for short.

The KPL file contains program code, including comments, variable declarations, functions, and other programming elements.

The KPL is used by students to store educational programs in learning environments.

The KPL software has been replaced by Phrogram, which however continues to use the KPL extension for its source code files, thus ensuring full compatibility.

Kazaa Playlist File

In this case, KPL, in addition to being the extension, also serves as an acronym for Kazaa PlayList.

The KPL is a music playlist created by Kazaa, a now-defunct program that allowed subscribers to retrieve movies, music, and ringtones on demand.

KPL file contains playlist of songs, and is used to store albums or playlists, as well as share favorite playlists online.

Kazaa shut down the Kazaa website and it has been down since 2012.
