Open CH File

Files with the CH extension are used for various purposes. Programs that usually make use of CH files are OS/2, Clipper and C Programming Language. It is typically used as a String Data Storage or for the eSignal program.

In OS/2 operating system from IBM, CH files functioned as configuration files, OS/2 was an attempted succession of DOS as the operating system for personal computers.

For Clipper and other programming languages, CH files represent header files which can contain directives for defining values in constants. When a CH file is called with the "include" option, all the directives contained in the file are loaded at the top of the program.

As for eSignal, a Windows based application, CH files are used to save the reports created by the program, eSignal uses JavaScript as a base of script language so that users and programmers can create their own financial indicators.
