Open AOS File
The AOS extension file is a firmware file used by ARCHOS tablets and netbooks.
Archos, a french company, manufactures various electronic communications devices, such as tablets, smartphones, portable media players, and portable data storage devices.
In this case, the AOS file, as a proprietary format, contains operating system updates, new features, feature enhancements, and bug fixes.
The AOS file is also used to periodically update and protect ARCHOS devices.
To update the firmware of an ARCHOS device, you must copy and paste or drag an updated AOS file to the root directory of the ARCHOS device in Windows.
